ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — February 2026 — The 2026 U.S. Futsal Northeast Regional Championship brought together more than 700 teams at the Atlantic City Convention Center, making it the largest Futsal tournament under one roof in the CONCACAF region and the biggest Futsal competition under one roof in the USA. Hosted February 13–16, the tournament welcomed youth and adult Futsal teams representing 23 age categories. Teams came from Florida, Kansas, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York-East, New York-West, Penn-East, Penn-West, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, and West Virginia, including programs from Florida, Kansas, and North Carolina. The convention center was transformed into a massive futsal venue featuring 24 courts with more than 1,100 games over four days.
The Northeast Regional Championship has grown dramatically over the past decade. What began as a tournament with just eight courts twelve years ago has expanded into a major national Futsal gathering, reflecting the sport’s rapid growth across the United States.

“The Northeast Regional Championship continues to set the standard for Futsal events in the United States. Bringing more than 700 teams together in one venue is an incredible logistical achievement, but more importantly it shows the passion and commitment of the Futsal community throughout the region.”
— Alexander Para, President of U.S. Futsal
One of the most exciting developments in recent years has been the continued growth of girls’ participation.
“We’re seeing girls divisions expand at an incredible pace. We are seeing more teams, stronger competition, and more communities investing in girls’ participation. It’s one of the most exciting trends happening in Futsal right now.”
— Elizabeth Addiego, Executive Administrator for U.S. Futsal
Adult competition was also strong, with 36 men’s teams competing in the Northeast regional event.
Beyond regional titles, the tournament also serves as a gateway to national competition. Finalists in each division — first and second place teams — qualify to compete for the National Title at the U.S. Futsal National Championships in July in Las Vegas, to be held at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
As participation continues to rise and facilities expand to accommodate the growing demand, the Northeast Regional Championship remains one of the most important events on the U.S. Futsal calendar, second only to the U.S. Futsal National Championships.
“The atmosphere inside the convention center is incredible. When you see 24 courts playing at the same time with thousands of athletes competing and more than 100 referees at one place, it’s a powerful reminder of how far the sport has come in the United States.”
— Alexander Para, President of U.S. Futsal
After four solid days of competition, winners emerged from all 23 categories. We invite all finalists to apply to the 40th Futsal National Championship being held July 30–August 2, 2026 at the Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, NV. Registration opens March 17.
